Miniature Hobby organised Minicon 2008 after an absence of a few years to a great response by modellers young and old in the end of December 2008. The announcement of the competition result was held on 27 Dec 2008.

With an entry count of over 200 kits and a multitude of categories, local modellers relived the days of the Minicon competition. The final day of the event was well attended. SFTPMS extends their congratulations to Jeff and crew for pulling this event off successfully.

Amongst the category winners were SFTPMS members Jason Koh, Chew Eng Hui, Ng Joo Teng, Richard Foenander, CP Tan and Andrew Chan.
